Bandai Namco revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump that the Cyber Sleuth series is getting a new game in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan. [Thanks, Jin115.]
The protagonist (pictured above) is named Keisuke Amazawa. After being accused as the criminal to a case he knows nothing about, he jumps into a world of hackers.
Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory’s story is said to be an “other side” story from the previous game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, so there’s a good chance you’ll run into familiar faces as well as up to 320 Digimon. As far as gameplay goes, it is based off the previous game so we’ll also see amiliar systems such as the Digi-Fam.
With numerous additional support skill added for the Digimon you’ll be raising, we’ll see an expansion in battle strategies in the upcoming game. Additionally, for those who’ve yet to play the first game, it’ll be included with Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory releases in Japan in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
