Digimon Story Reveals The Data-Erasing Ghost Boy And Monsters

Famitsu recently shared a glimpse of a mysterious boy dressed in white in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and a monster known as the “Eater”. 4Gamer shares new details on the two, but it seems as if the more we learn about them, the more mysterious things get in the game.

The “Ghost of the White Boy” is rumored to appear in cyberspace. There’s a rumor among hackers that say those who’ve encountered him have their data erased and no are longer able to access Eden.

The creatures known as “Eaters” are another rumored story about cyberspace. They say that they’re like amoeba, except they feed off of the data of humans and Digimon. These suckers are said to continue growing and dividing, bringing chaos to cyberspace.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth has an orthodox active turn-based battle system, where you give Digimon commands and the faster ones go first. They can stun enemies and also stop their movements with a “Break” effect.

One of the more unique features is that you can pit together Digimon with high affinity to each other to pull off special combo attacks. You can have them become closer to one another to pull off even stronger attacks together, as well.

Regular attacks aside, the Digimon all have their own characteristic moves. The above shows just some of the special moves from the three Digimon.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth will be released on PlayStation Vita in 2015.
