Dinosaurs, Giant Squids, And Bears! Oh My!

You may have seen this hungry dinosaur before as a guest character in Tekken 3 or in a manga series. Namco Bandai is making a new Gon game for Nintendo 3DS slated for release in Japan on July 14.

The premise of Gon Chomp Chomp Adventure is simple enough. Eat fruit to fill up your satiation gauge or it’s game over. Gon will travel through a forest, river, and swamp in search of snacks. Each stage has different gimmicks like quicksand for a desert area and an avalanche in the snowy mountains. Gon will also have to fight rivals like a giant squid and a bear with her cubs (wait… bears?!).

Gon Chomp Chomp Adventure also uses the gyro sensor when you want to look around. You can move the Nintendo 3DS to scan an area for hidden passages, which you can access with a dino-headbutt. Gon also has an animal book and food book to fill.
