Square Enix will add another familiar character to Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy with the debut of Celes Chere from FFVI. She will be yet another limited time unit. This means if you don’t pull her between July 28, 2026 and August 24, 2026, you would need to wait for a rerun for a chance to add her to your roster. In addition to her and her abilities, there will be a Blossom Princess costume for Terra and swimsuit costumes for Gaia, Onion Knight, and Rinoa in August 2026.
Celes will be a Support type character in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy and it seems the FFVI character will help as a Bravery booster thanks to Runic granting everyone BP based on rival damage. Her Unique Ability, which is triggered by holding, will cast Regen to heal her two allies over a period of time. Her Invincible General passive grants her Bravery based on how much damage a “rival” opponent deals to her. Her unique Abilities shown in her trailer are R Freezing Edge, SR Blizzard Combo, UR Spinning Edge, and UR Runic.

Celes is the third limited character to show up in the game. The first was Sephiroth. He joined in May 2026. The second was Tidus, who we can still pick up in-game until July 27, 2026. The next update in August 2026 will add a character from FFV, a new boss, and a new stage.
As for the costumes, those will all be time-limited items too. The banner for Terra’s Blossom Princess pink dress will run between August 3-24, 2026. The Gaia, Onion Knight, and Rinoa swimsuit banner will run between the middle and end of August 2026, involve Swimsuits Only Outfit Tickets. One of those will be given away as a login bonus.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is on Android and iOS mobile devices and Celes Chere from FFVI will be available in game between July 28, 2026 and August 24, 2026.
