Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition Makes Its Way To PS4 And Steam On March 12

Square Enix announced that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition is coming to the West on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam next month with a limited roster of characters that change on a weekly basis.

Those with Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition can also purchase a variety of characters and weapons individually, players can buy their favorite characters and have them be permanent roster characters. Those playing on the Free Edition can also play online against players with the full game.

While Square Enix hasn’t specified, the Japanese version didn’t include the story mode, Treasure, and some of the courses in Rush Battle, as it was made to focus more on the online component of the game.

On another note about the rotating characters that change on a weekly basis, when a character becomes unusable after changing to the next set of characters, player statistics and character stats are saved, so they can progress the next time they become available.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition launches on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on March 12, 2019.
