DJ Max Portable 2 in the works

Pentavision made an international cult hit when they released DJ Max Portable. The game is essentially like Beatmania except that it isn’t played with a special controller. On the PSP you use the standard buttons and hit notes to the beat. Part of the appeal of the series is that it is challenging and that it too difficult to play even if you can’t read Korean. Pentavision is working on a sequel to DJ Max Portable for the PSP, which is scheduled to come out in spring 2007. The screenshot above has a few of the songs that are going to be in the game.
