Without a doubt the best selling, Korean developed PSP game is from Pentavision. It’s either DJ Max Portable or DJ Max Portable 2. The import friendly game (music is a language of its own?) found international appeal with hardcore music gamers. Granted, DJ Max Portable is still relatively unknown, but without any advertising it’s a success.
Brandon pointed out on Insert Credit an interview he did with a Pentavision team member on Gamasutra. In the talk Lee Kyu Seok explained they are “thinking about Nintendo or Microsoft” as a future platform for the DJ Max series. Also S4 League, a stylish looking arena shooting game currently in development from Pentavision, may not be released on the PSP.
After two releases the tone of the interview sounds like Pentavision is moving on from the PSP.
