DJMax Successor Superbeat: Xonic Announced For Japan With Japanese And Korean Music

DJMax series staff are working on a “next-generation rhythm game” with Superbeat: Xonic for PlayStation Vita. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares more details. [Thanks, Hachima.]

 

Superbeat: Xonic will feature tracks from various Japanese and South Korean artists, with a total of over 50 tracks for the PlayStation Vita game. It will also be compatible with the PlayStation TV, and will have an online ranking system.

 

Some of the main artists include:

 

  • Shinji Hosoe(Sampling Masters MEGA)

 

  • Makou(Makoto Yamaguchi)

 

  • Tsukasa(Yosuke Hatakeyama)

 

  • Cranky(Watanabe Hiroshi)

 

  • Saso Ayako(Sampling Masters AYA)

 

  • Takahiro Eguchi

 

Arc System Works will be publishing the game in Japan, and they’ve hinted that there will be something for the game that is characteristic of Arc System Works.
