DOA2 Hardcore Hitting PS2 Classics In North America

DOA2 Hardcore, one of the PS2 launch titles in North America, is on deck to be re-released as a downloadable PS2 Classic. The news comes from the ESRB, which rated DOA2 Hardcore as a PlayStation 3 title with Sony Computer Entertainment America as the publisher.

When classic PlayStation games are rated with SCEA as the publisher it means they will be distributed by Sony on PlayStation Network.

Ratings for Disney/Pixar Cars, Legend of Kay, MX vs. ATV: Untamed, Alter Echo, and PsOne tactical RPG meets board game Battle Hunter are also on the ESRB. A couple of these games were originally published by THQ and assets for games like Alter Echo were acquired by Nordic Games after they went bankrupt.
