Dodonpachi Maximum Coming To Windows Phones On March 7

SS_04Cave set March 7 as the release date for Dodonpachi Maximum, a new shooter made exclusively for Windows Phones. Dodonpachi Maximum has swipe shooting controls so you can control your ship by simply moving your finger on the touch screen.

 

If you’re a Cave fan you might recognize other some of the game’s sprites. Dodonpachi Maximum has enemies and ships from Dodonpachi Blissful Death and Dodonpachi Resurrection. Like other Cave mobile titles, Dodonpachi Maximum has adaptive difficulty. The game tweaks the challenge level after each of its stages, which should make it more accessible for players who haven’t been keeping up with bullet hell.

 

Dodonpachi Maximum will be released in Japanese and English for $4.99.
