Donut County is a physics game about holes in the earth, having players move them around to devour cute people, adorable objects, and funny animals, doing so to solve puzzles or just clear landscapes.
Donut County gives players a mobile hole in several different landscapes filled with people and objects. There, players will move the hole around to try to make things fall into it. In a Katamari-like fashion, the hole will grow steadily bigger as players swallow more objects, letting players devour larger and larger objects over the course of each area.
Players aren’t just looking to have everything on a map fall into the hole, though. Players can also collect objects in the hole and combine them, using set groups of items to solve puzzles throughout the game. They will also be working toward a story that explains why these holes have been consuming everything, and their connection to Mira, a teen who works at the local donut shop.
Donut County is set to release sometime in 2018, and interested players can sign up for its email mailing list to know when it goes live.
