Doomfist has a release date. The new offensive character will join the ranks of Overwatch’s elite on July 27, 2017. Like all additions to the game, he will be free. This follows Doomfist’s Public Test Region launch, as he has been playable on PCs since the first week of July.

Accompanying Doomfist’s release date announcement is a new video going into the making of the character. It shows off early designs and talks about his role in the game’s lore.

Overwatch is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
