Japanese 3DS owners can play Double Dragon on the go. Nintendo put the Game Boy version on the Nintendo eShop, which is based on the NES release albeit with different level designs. Don’t worry Abobo is still in the game. Arc System Works is listed as the publisher, so there’s a fair chance Aksys could release Double Dragon overseas. After all, they handled the iPhone version.
Late in the Game Boy’s lifespan, Nintendo decided to remake some of their Game & Watch games with Mario and Game Boy Gallery (aka Game & Watch Gallery in North America) was born. The first installment has Manhole, Octopus, Oil Panic, and Fire… where you rescue stars and baby Yoshis. Both games cost 400 yen ($5) a piece.
