Bandai Namco announced the release date for Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, a 4v4 competitive MOBA game for consoles, PCs, and mobile. It will debut on September 9, 2025. Pre-registration is open, and there are five possible rewards if certain tiers are hit.

Like many MOBA games, Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra features characters tied to different specialties like Damage, Tank, and Technical. Your goal is to take over territory, fight enemy characters, and get the Dragon Balls. Both heroes and villains from the series appear. During early tests, it was known as Dragon Ball Project Multi.

Here’s the latest Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra trailer. It’s a purely cinematic one, so no gameplay is covered.

As for the pre-registration bonuses, here’s what all players might end up getting if tiers are hit:

  • 100,000: 3,000 Zeni
  • 500,000: 5 G-Capsules
  • 1,000,000: A Goku Stamp
  • 2,000,000: 7 SG-Capsules
  • 3,000,000: Son Goku (Mini) character

Here’s the image to go with that:

The playable Son Goku seems to be based on his Dragon Ball Daima appearance. Following that anime adaptation’s debut, characters and storylines from it appeared in other games like Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and Dragon Ball Kakarot.

The Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra MOBA will come to the PS4, PS5, Switch, PC, and mobile devices on September 9, 2025.
