Namco Bandai is working on a Dragon Ball game for Nintendo 3DS, but this isn’t a fighting game or an RPG. Jump revealed a card game called Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission is described as a port of the Japan-only online card game Dragon Ball Heroes. The 3DS version will have additional content. Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission will have over 200 characters and 800 different cards. Players pull five cards out of their deck and battle each other in the game. StreePass is supported and can be used to get extra cards.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission is slated for release in spring 2013.
