The release date announcement mainly consisted of details about Dragon Ball Super: Beerus that we already know. It is a new adaptation of a familiar story. We know Masako Nozawa will voice Goku and Koichi Yamadera will be Beerus. An English dub hasn’t been announced yet, but English subs will be available the day it debuts.

As for the ad campaign, only the exact dates are set for Japan. Toei Animation noted those trucks will be driving around the Japanese cities of Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo, and Tokyo between October 5-11, 2026. Train stations will also feature ads. In the US, there will be buses in Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York decked out in designs based on the show. That announcement also said 30 malls in our country will feature ads for the show.
