Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Heads to Movie Theaters in October

Fathom announced the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie will be in theaters in the US for two days in October 2023. It will air from October 17-18, 2023. Only the English dub version will be available, and there will be no option to see it in Japanese with English subtitles. However, this will be the 105-minute long extended cut version of the film. Fathom is already taking ticket pre-orders for the event on its official site.

This is the tenth anniversary of the film, as this Dragon Ball Z movie debuted back in March 2013. It features Goku and his allies facing off against Beerus. After Beerus decides to destroy Earth while searching for the Super Saiyan God, Goku and his allies must learn more about this legendary being.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will be in US theaters between October 17-18, 2023. It is also available on Blu-ray and DVD. While it isn’t streaming on Crunchyroll, a number of other films in the series and the anime is. Viz Media handles the manga localizations.
