Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi Strikes Back With New Battle System

Namco Bandai created a new battle system for Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi. Dubbed the "range system" players are either in "grapple range" where you fight with your fists or "shooting range" where you use projectiles.

Like all Dragon Ball Z games, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi has flashy special attacks. You can counter these in Ultimate Tenkaichi by selecting intercept as your defense reaction. This triggers a button mashing battle and the winner’s special attack hits their opponent. Take a look at some of the special moves below.
