Dragon Quest Ballet Performance to be Held in December

Star Dancers Ballet announced it will perform it’s Dragon Quest Ballet in Japan in December 2022. It will feature an original story set within the Dragon Quest universe. A total of 41 songs will appear during the performance, with tracks ranging from Dragon Quest I to Dragon Quest VI. The songs will be played by a full orchestra to accompany the performance of the Star Dancers Ballet. It will be held on December 24, 2022. [Thanks, denfaminicogamer!]

The Dragon Quest Ballet appeared at Japan Expo in Paris in 2019. The official website featured a small promotional video from the event. It showcases the various performers, costumes, and event set pieces that will appear. You can watch the promotional video below.

New Dragon Quest series trailers will be appearing at Jump Festa 2022 in mid-December. Square Enix revealed this information through the official Jump Festa website. The event will be held from December 17-18, 2022 and will feature the latest Dragon Quest trailers. While Square Enix hasn’t specified what trailers will appear, it debuted trailers for major installments in the series previously at Jump Festa. This included a teaser trailer for Dragon Quest XI S.

Information about Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate remained scarce since its initial announcement in May 2021. Square Enix has not said if a trailer for this installment will appear at Jump Festa.
