We previously got a look at how you’ll get to build your very own “Empty Island” in Dragon Quest Builders 2. Square Enix provided a closer look with screenshots showing what else is new. 
Once you solve problems on other islands, you can get people to come live on Empty Island.
You can get help from the new residents by having them party up to fight monsters, work together to build, cultivate, and more. 
With new building options, Dragon Quest Builders 2 offers more customization than before with the ability to color items you craft. 
Cooking is also getting an upgrade with the ability to combine various ingredients to cook up something special. 
Certain items such as sofa blocks can change when placed next to each other. 
You’ll even get to make your own aquarium using windows. Dragon Quest Builders 2 releases in Japan on December 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out our previous report for info on farming and Builder Tools.
