During the September 2019 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Switch releases of Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II, and Dragon Quest III were revealed for Japan. While no North American or European version has been confirmed yet, people looking to play the games in English on the system will be able to turn to the Asian versions. Square Enix Asia revealed on Facebook that English will be a language option for the physical compilation of those games in Asia.  (Thanks, Nintendo Soup!)

In Asia, Square Enix will put the three games on one cartridge. When it does, it will have English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese as language options. However, an exact date for this package was not revealed. Instead, the branch of the company only said it is “coming in 2019” in its Facebook announcement.

Dragon Quest I, Dragon Quest II, and Dragon Quest III will come to the Nintendo Switch digitally in Japan on September 27, 2019.
