Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road II, an arcade game, is coming to Wii under the name Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory. If it was just a card battling game, this may have been short so Square Enix added a single player quest.
In tournament mode you create an avatar and battle townsfolk in Dragon King Town. Win card battles to get stylish clothes like dragon hats and slime fans! Players can also change their avatar’s hair style and gender.
Have a stack of cards from the arcade? You can use them in Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory if you have a Nintendo DSi. A DSiWare app scans cards with the DSi’s camera and unlocks digital versions in the Wii game.
Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory has a bit of motion control too. Players engage in swordfights and use the Wii remote as the legendary Tenku sword.
Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory also has online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi and a bunch of familiar Dragon Quest heroes. Japan gets the game sometime this summer.
