Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime Sequel Screens Show A Blue Slime On The Ocean

Square Enix is working on a Nintendo 3DS sequel to Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. In Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: The Great Pirate Ship and Tails Troupe takes the squishy blue slime to the high seas.

You get to create and customize a pirate ship, which is used to sail around the world in stereographic 3D. Tank battles return as ship battles. Aside from being on the ocean, the gameplay is the same. Players throw items lying around into cannons to sink the enemy ship.

 

There will be times when the hero slime has to use his stretchy slime strike to crash through enemies and grab objects. Watch out Candy Cats, Rocket is back! Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3 is slated for a winter release in Japan.
