Without much fanfare, Square Enix released Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King in English today. The game popped up in New Zealand first and now the game is available in North America for $19.99. (Thanks for the tip Zidane4028!)

The iOS version of Dragon Quest VIII was remade using Unity and is played in portrait mode. Dragon Quest VIII is compatible with iPad 3rd Generation or higher and iPhone 5 and above.
Since Dragon Quest VIII made it here there’s a good chance the entire Dragon Quest for iOS series will be released worldwide too.
