Another augmented reality mobile game has been announced. Square Enix has revealed Dragon Quest Walk. It will be released on Android and Apple iOS devices in 2019.

A one and a half minute long launch announcement trailer for Dragon Quest Walk has been released. In it, we get to see a number of iconic monsters, like Slimes, Golems, Sabrecubs, and Drackies roaming about. In the last ten seconds, we see it actually running on a phone. A map is shown of an area, with a player happening upon a King Slime. We then see the player with an actual team of characters engaging in a turn-based battle against the King Slime and a Killing Machine.

Dragon Quest Walk is headed to Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan. A worldwide release has yet to be announced.
