Telecom company NTT DoCoMo has been working with Square Enix on a cloud powered version of Dragon Quest X. Dragon Quest X d-Game Version launched in Japan for the dTab tablet last year. Starting today, Dragon Quest X d-Game Version is available on smartphones too.

The first 100,000 players can try the smartphone client for free for 72 hours. Dragon Quest X d-Game Version costs 350 yen for three days or 650 yen ten days. That’s on top of a subscription for Dragon Quest X either for PC, Wii or Wii U.
