The magazine has new battle details. The first one is the “Free Movement Battle” system that is part of the PS4 version of the game. This mode lets you freely move about—from character to viewpoint. There’s also the “Auto Camera Battle” that brings a sense of reality to the fight.

As for the 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI, it has “2D Mode” where you’ll get to see pixel art characters in battle. There’s also the “3D Mode” where you’ll get to see the lively characters in battle instead.

Both PS4 and 3DS versions of the game feature command-based battles. There’s also a new element that involves the protagonist bringing out a blue aura.
