In Dragon Quest XI S we’ll get to see more from all of the game’s main characters with additional stories where each of them become their own main characters, including Hendrik and Jasper. The official website shares new screenshots and a teaser for all the new stories.
The new stories allow players to take control of each character and progress through their own adventures. You’ll get to talk to people, look for treasure, and face tough foes a little differently than normal.
The new and previously untold stories take place in the part of the main story where the main characters get separated across the world.
Here are some teasers for the new stories:
Erik and his Strange Partner
Erik finds himself imprisoned in a monster’s hideout. He appears to be planning an escape with a Healslime.
Traveling Performer of Hope
Sylvando is at Gondolia where he meets folks that are being harassed by a band of thieves, so he steps up to set things straight.
Noble Battle Princess Jade
Jade visits Octagonia, where she gets sent and imprisoned in another world by Booga.
Rab and the Kingdom of Happiness
Rab was chasing a bunny girl that he meets in a mysterious world, and finds himself in an unexpectedly nostalgic place…
Furthermore, Hendrik and Jasper’s stories, Too!
A dark shadow arrives in Heliodor Castle. “… is that you, Jasper?” calls out Hendrik calls out to the shadow.
Dragon Quest XI S releases for Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2019. Dragon Quest XI is available for PlayStation 4 and PC. In case you missed it, Square Enix has a special announcement for something involving Erik on August 3.
