Vanillaware made a major update for Dragon’s Crown. If you clear floor nine in the Labyrinth of Chaos you can unlock Ultimate difficulty. This mode increases the max level from 99 to 255 and opens a new area, the Sky Tower of Dreams. This has randomly created dungeons for players to fight through.

Dragon’s Crown will also get some tweaks like an item shortcut (L button + up on the d-pad) and total damage numbers. Vanillaware also adjusted skills, NPC behavior, and how items work in the player vs. player arena. The update is available in Japan right now.
