Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of our most anticipated games of 2024, and players will be able to finally play this long-awaited sequel quite soon. As expected with a massive game like this one, the Dragons Dogma 2 preload is going to be available to save players some time at launch.
When can I preload Dragon’s Dogma 2?
The Dragons Dogma 2 preload date begins on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, for all three systems. This is just barely two days or so before the game’s launch. The exact time for preloading on all three regions is expected to happen around midnight in each region. For US players, this means you should be able to preload the game starting at 12 a.m. EDT (9 p.m. PDT). This way, you can download the game early and immediately play it when it launches at midnight in your region two days later.
Additionally, there is a potential way to play the game even earlier on consoles if you like. On Xbox, there is a past method of changing your region to New Zealand or Australia to play the game when it launches there. On PS5, you can stock up on Australia or New Zealand PSN cards and buy the game in that region with an account based there to play it early.
How to Preload Dragons Dogma 2
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, pre-downloading this massive game isn’t available yet. But as mentioned above, you will be able to preload Dragon’s Dogma 2 starting on March 20, 2024. Once that time arrives for players to preload this massive fantasy action RPG, you will need to pre-order the game digitally on the platform of your choice.
Preload will be available for all three platforms PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Once preloading has gone live, players who purchase or have already purchased the game will be able to download it on March 20th. Just remember you won’t be able to launch and actually play the game until its release date on March 22, 2024.
