Drakengard Creator Taro Yoko Is Working On A New Game, But Shh, Don’t Tell

Recommended Videos

Drakengard and Nier creator Taro Yoko has been working as a freelance developer after having worked most notably with the now-defunct Cavia. He recently finished Drakengard 3 with Square Enix, and he’s working on a new title. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]

The report comes from this week’s special 20th anniversary PlayStation edition of Dengeki PlayStation, where Yoko revealed that he’s working on a new title.

“If I talk about the new title now, I’ll get killed by all kinds of people, so let’s just keep it a secret for now,” Yoko jokingly said.

The report didn’t indicate what platform he’s working on either, probably for the sake of Yoko’s life, but we’ll likely hear more about the new title in the near future, now that he was able to at least mention something about it.
