Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered will not be available on March 19, 2026. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced that they have delayed the release of the remaster of the 2001 PS2 game Dynasty Warriors 3. The original Japanese announcement also added that the new release window will still fall sometime within 2026.
The game’s producer, Tomohiko Sho, also added his own message to the delay announcement. He noted that the development team needs more time to further improve the remaster’s quality. While the Japanese announcement still promises a 2026 release window, this delay means that the Dynasty Warriors 3 remaster will miss the fiscal year that ends on March 31, 2026.
The official English announcement for the delay is also available to read right below:
During the Tokyo Game Show in September 2025, Tomohiko Sho and Akihiro Suzuki revealed how the team will not just remaster Dynasty Warriors 3 as-is. Omega Force will also add quality-of-life improvements to the gameplay system.
The remaster will also have its demo build available physically first at Taipei Game Show 2026, which will run from January 29 to February 1, 2026. Tomohiko Sho had earlier promised that Koei Tecmo would publish a new trailer for the Dynasty Warriors 3 remaster at the Taipei Game Show, although it is yet to be known whether that plan would be affected after the game gets delayed.
Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, Switch, and PC sometime in 2026.
