Namco Bandai confirmed Gundam Musou 3 will be released overseas as Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3. This installment has more of an anime feel since Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 uses cel-shaded graphics. Check out this past post for a comparison between the two styles.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 has over 50 playable characters and more than 70 mobile suits. New series covered in this title include: Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, After War Gundam X, and Gundam Unicorn. (Yes, Gundam Double X is in it.) Developer Tecmo Koei tweaked the gameplay too adding elements from other Warriors games. You can use Partner Strike to summon an ally into battle, a feature first seen in the Warriors Orochi line. Emergency Dash allows players to evade and cancel certain enemy attacks by utilizing some of your Mobile Suit’s boost meter. Recovery Gauge lets players restore some heath in the heat of battle.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer.
