EA and Spielberg developing a title for the Wii

During the conference call Electronic Arts mentioned that they plan to ship between 20-23 SKUs on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for the next fiscal year (period between April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008). Electronic Arts also plans to launch between 10-13 SKUs for the Wii and the Nintendo DS. This number includes original games like Boogie, My Sims, EA Playground and a new title that is being developed with Steven Spielberg. Electronic Arts announced that Spielberg would collaborate with Electronic Arts on three separate projects in 2005. From yesterday’s announcement at least one of them is an original Wii title that is set to come out in the next twelve months.
