D3 Publisher bumped Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair back two months from February 2014 to April 2, 2014. The PlayStation 4 game is an expanded version of Earth Defense Force 2025 with enhanced graphics and a battle where you pilot a giant robot to take down a giant monster.

In the meantime, Japan will get Earth Defense Force Portable V2, a port of Earth Defense Force 2 with the Air Raider class from Earth Defense Force 2025 and online play this Thursday.
