Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Introduces Online 4v4 Mercenary Mode

D3 Publisher announced a new mode for Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain called Mercenary where teams go head to head in online 4v4 battles. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares a first look.

In Mercenary you can have up to eight players join the competitive online mode called Mercenary. Players are split into two teams of four with the goal of defeating aggressors, getting in the way of the other team, and collecting Energy Gems.
