Earth Defense Portable V2 Coming To Vita In November With Air Raid Unit

image D3 Publisher has an enhanced port of Earth Defense Force 2 in development for PlayStation Vita called Earth Defense Force Portable V2. The giant bug shooting game will gain the Air Raid unit which can summon tanks and air strikes who was introduced in Earth Defense Force 2025.

Famitsu reports the graphics have been upgraded too and the Vita version will have online multiplayer for up to four players. The game will also have over 400 weapons to collect. Originally released for PlayStation 2, Earth Defense Force 2 was ported to PSP.

 

Earth Defense Force V2 is slated for release in November. You can get the game for 5,616 yen or a double pack with two copies for 7,538 yen.
