In EarthBound, players follow Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo as they go around the world, facing the forces of Giygas. Nintendo even prepared a Travel Guide for people to cite, in case of emergencies. The Nintendo website is saying it costs $7.99 on the New Nintendo 3DS, same as the other Super Nintendo Virtual Console Games, but the actual eShop is listing it as $9.99, which is the price of the Nintendo Wii U version. There’s no cross-buy promotion in effect, so someone who already owns it would need to purchase it again to get the portable version.

Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Kart also join the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console lineup today. They’re $7.99 each on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Super Nintendo Virtual Console games are only playable on New Nintendo 3DS systems.
