Egglia: Legend of the Redcap was set to end service today, in order to make way for the sequel in Japan, Egglia: The Final Egg, which releases tomorrow. This has now been delayed for a day until August 16.

Egglia: The Final Egg is a pay-once smartphone game that directly continues from the storyline of Legend of the Redcap, going straight into the “Gods & Ogres” storyline. Players from Legend of the Redcap are able to transfer their data over to the new game and keep playing that way.

As for English players, the service termination date for Legend of the Redcap has also been delayed for a day, in order to make way for a new version releasing tomorrow called Egglia: Legend of the Redcap Offline, which is the existing game with online features removed. Players can also begin to transfer data to that version starting tomorrow.

Egglia: Legend of the Redcap is available for iOS and Android. Egglia: Legend of the Redcap Offline is set to hit the same platforms tomorrow. Egglia: The Final Egg is to hit Japanese iOS and Android devices tomorrow, on August 16, 2018.
