HoYoVerse’s latest pieces of drip marketing teased the debut of the Elation Trailblazer path for our protagonist player characters Caelus and Stelle. This also involved official art for both versions of the avatar and a hint at their weapon. It also references the Planarcadia Trailblazer missions, as the unit’s raccoon mask is shown in the image.
The Elation Trailblazer will deal Electric damage. As a nod to that, the weapon this time around seems to be a sword or baton with light and electricity extending from it. Their standard outfit remains unchanged, though the appearance of the raccoon mask does suggest that could be part of it. Like all variants, this will be a five-star unit.
Elation will be the fifth path for the Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail. When the game began, the character followed the Destruction one, dealt Physical damage, and would hit large groups of enemies. After finishing the Jarilo-VI and Belobog storyline, the Preservation defensive path with Fire attacks appeared. The Harmony role with more supportive abilities and Imaginary damage showed up after visiting Penacony. 3.0’s Amphoreus storyline meant the Remembrance path opened up for the Trailblazer (and other characters), and that featured Ice-related attacks.

This means technically three characters will be part of Honkai: Star Rail 4.2. The new five-star Silver Wolf alt with a LV.999 title, appeared first. The new unit Evanescia showed up after that. All three will be Elation units following the new path introduced in 4.0.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program stream for 4.1 will air at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET/12:30pm CET on March 13, 2026. That update is expected to arrive on March 24, 2026.
