KOG Games has released an update to its MMORPG Elsword as part of its build-up to Season 2.
For starters, each character now has their own story-driven tutorial with their own quest zones. There’s also a new 8-man Raid Boss, a red dragon called Perkisas, which is available to all players level 15 and up.
Alongside Perkisas comes an upgraded Raid Mode with a new UI that displays a scoring system, reward/loot info, Boss health status and ranking systems for individual Characters and Guilds. It also makes Resurrections unlimited.
These Prelude to Season 2 updates are available now but there are more to come throughout December and perhaps beyond. KOG teased that this would include a whole new look for all Elsword characters and “sending the ElGang out to study abroad; and immersion program with a completely new skill set.”
KOG will also be overhauling its customer support system to allow for “more direct, holistic, and engaging approach for both their Community outreach and GM and Support staff.”
Finally, KOG is hosting weekend events that boost your character to level 70 and let you complete the second Job change for free (and you get some loot to go with it). The weekends are as follows: 12/4 – 12/6, 12/11 – 12/13, and 12/18 – 12/20 (every Friday to Sunday, basically).
