Koihime Enbu, the fighter that reimagines historical figures from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms period as mostly women, will be coming to English speakers on Steam May 19.

The 2D fighter uses a Street Fighter-like moveset for its various characters, with each able to access help from an assist character, use stronger versions of your regular moves, or use super and ultimate moves by drawing from the Tactics bar.

The fighter also uses a Fatal Counter system, where certain hard-hitting moves can interrupt your opponent’s moves, stunning or juggling them so long as you hit your opponent with these moves when they’re attacking. You can then begin to chain your attacks on your helpless opponent, although spamming the same move will cause your combo to quickly fail.
