The Nintendo DS has been home to many Kanji trainers, but Hissatsu Kung Fu Kanji Dragon (loosely translated as Lethal Kung Fu: Kanji Dragon) by Success Corp looks more entertaining than Doko Demo Kanji Quiz. Hissatsu Kung Fu Kanji Dragon is set in a martial arts movie you fight back by writing hiragana on the touch screen. It’s sort of like Sega’s Typing of the Dead, except you’re writing and there aren’t any zombies. Nifty tools like this might compliment learning a new language. In this case Japanese, but maybe a savvy North American developer will adapt or create a game like this for Spanish, French or German.
