Etna’s Long Lost Cousin? Nah, It’s Another Disgaea 4 Cameo Character

Every "Omega" tier spell in Disgaea 4 has an anime tie-up. In case you missed the crossover madness here’s a quick recap of who Nippon Ichi got so far:

• Meito Anizawa from Anime Tencho for Omega Fire
• Bikkuriman for Omega Star
• Holo from Spice & Wolf for Omega Wind
• Index from A Certain Magical Index for Omega Heal

That leaves Omega Cool. Astarotte Ygvar from Lotte no Omocha (Lotte’s Toy) shows up when you cast the powerful ice spell. Being a succubus, Astarotte naturally fits into the demonic Disgaea universe. She even looks a bit like Etna and Flonne mashed together.

Disgaea 4 comes out on February 24 in Japan. NIS America plans to release the game here this summer. While they haven’t said anything about the anime cameos, Z.H.P. retained all of the light novel additions.
