Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 Announced For 3DS, Releases August 31 In Japan

Atlus announced during their special announcements live stream that Etrian Odyssey Mystery Dungeon, their collaboration roguelike game with Spike Chunsoft is getting a sequel for Nintendo 3DS.

 

The above is a look at the game’s first trailer. The game adds new classes with “Pirate,” “Alchemist,” “Monk,” and “Kenkaku.” Similar to the previous title, you’ll get to create your own characters, take on various quests and powerful F.O.Es, and more.

 

It’ll also have the Mystery Dungeon features such as picking up items around the floors, randomly generated maps, Monster Houses, weapon upgrading, traps, and more.

Etrian Odyssey 10th Anniversary Box is a limited edition version that features the game, a special box, and a 200-page collection of art work. It’ll go for 9,800 yen.

 

Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will release in Japan on August 3, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.
