Etrian Mystery Dungeon’s Furai Class Looks Pretty Useful For Dungeon Exploring

Recommended Videos

Etrian Mystery Dungeon will have plenty of the traditional classes, but the new Furai class looks like it came straight out of Shiren The Wanderer. The game’s latest trailer shows us how the new class plays.

The video starts out with a look at the Furai’s eight different patterns, followed by a look at some of its basic attacks and skills. Atlus also show off a neat skill called “Tunnel” that allows them to break walls of the labyrinth and lead their party through shortcuts, which seems like it could make dungeon exploration much easier.

Furai also has another useful skill called Gust, that is used to blow away all enemies within vicinity, which would be handy for when you’re in a pinch and surrounded by foes.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon will release in North America in Spring 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.
