Etrian Odyssey V Videos Feature The Dragoon Class, More On Race And Union Skills

We previously got a look at Etrian Odyssey V’s Fencer class, and Atlus’ latest videos for the 3DS dungeon crawler shows us more on the Dragoon class, Race and Union Skills.

First is a look at the Dragoon class video. Dragoons are frontline fighters that pride themselves in their high defense. While they’re more of a tankier class with their large shields, Dragoons are also able to provide some offense with their ability to shoot enemies.

The next video is about the game’s four different races and the Union Skill system. Starting with details on race skills. Each race has something that makes them unique. Earthrum have a race skill that allows them to gather various items and another that lets them fish in nearby areas of water, Lunaria are able to use magic to detect things that are nearby and they can also increase the damage of battle items.

Therian have a skill that lets them acquire food from beasts found in the forest. Using their keen senses, they’re also able to increase the chances of a preemptive attack. And finally, the Bronie have a skill that increase their item slots and vitality, along with another skill that increases the effects of HP recovery items.

And finally, the video shows a bit of the “Union Skill” that can be activated in battle for a powerful attack, but you’ll need to fill up a meter in order to do so. You need several party members to perform these skills.

Etrian Odyssey V: End of the Long Myth will release in Japan on August 4, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
