Europe Gets Sega 3D Classics Collection In November

The Sega 3D Classics Collection finally has a European release date. Nintendo 3DS owners in the region will be able to pick up physical and digital copies on November 4, 2016. It offers people a total of 10 games to enjoy, two of which were never released outside of Japan. This is the first time Power Drift and Puyo Puyo 2 have received a worldwide release.

The full list of the nine Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), Sega Master System, and Sega GigaDrive games immediately available to play in the Sega 3D Classics Collection is as follows. Each one has been remastered and can be played in 3D, save states are available, and some titles have additional features available in the options.

  • Altered Beast
  • Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa
  • Fantasy Zone II W
  • Galaxy Force II
  • Maze Walker
  • Power Drift
  • Puyo Puyo 2
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Thunder Blade

The original Fantasy Zone can be unlocked, bringing the lineup to 10.

 

Sega 3D Classics Collection is immediately available on the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Japan.
