Europe Getting An Extravagant Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition

People in Europe will have the option of getting a limited edition of Metroid: Samus Returns. This rather large Legacy Edition bundle will give people a copy of the game, as well as a number of bonuses celebrating the recreation of Metroid II: Return of Samus.

The Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition comes with plenty of things that pay tribute to the original game and series. One of them is an eShop download code for the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console version of Metroid II: Return of Samus, perhaps so people can compare the two. There is a Steelbook case for the game that is shaped like the original Game Boy cartridge. You get an “S” Insignia pin, a Morph Ball keychain, a 40-page art book, and a 25-track soundtrack CD.

 

Metroid: Samus Returns will come to the Nintendo 3DS on September 15, 2017. A limited edition version of the game has yet to be announced for North America.
