European Advent Children release just a rumor?

This article is over 18 years old and may contain outdated information

We all heard that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children had a release date of April 24th for Europe. If this were true, Europe would be getting a chance to watch the feature film in English first. As soon as the release date hit the web, Sony of Europe announced that the release date is unconfirmed. While it is possible that April 24th will mark a release for the PAL regions, we’ll chalk it up as a rumor for now.

Update: Clear your schedule on April 25th that’s the release date of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children in the USA. The DVD comes in a two disc set with footage from the Venice Film Festival, a making of featurette and deleted scenes. It’s to anyone’s guess what these deleted scenes might be because the Japanese release didn’t have any. There’s also no word if the “Last Order” OVA will be added to the limited edition package.
